Basecamp/Backpack: Big Bend National Park MEETUP
The Bend Outdoors crew & company are heading west to kickoff the first weekend of November! Join us out west for a weekend full of base camping and backpacking in the midst of the wildly vast Big Bend National Park. We ask that guest carpool with one another and invite friends to tag along. We are happy to take a couple guests in our personal vehicles as well.
Bouldering Meetup: McKinney Falls State Park
Bend Outdoors is hosting an outdoor bouldering meetup at McKinney Falls State Park. We will be joined by our friend Kurt Suttin, McKinney regular, to highlight the top routes, as well as to provide any aid to newer climbers. Due to the routes at McKinney, we ask that guests have bouldering experience, as the majority of the routes are fairly challenging.
Group Trail Run
Join us for a 4.5-mile group trail run through Austin’s beloved Barton Creek Greenbelt led by ultra-marathon runner Keith Mitchhart. We ask that runner’s feel confident in their trail running ability.
BACKPACKING MEETUP: LOST MAPLES
Join us as the fall foliage emerges in the stunning Texas Hill Country. This is a meetup so we are asking people to transport themselves and bring their own food/snacks. We have all the necessary backpacking gear and will happily lend out gear to whoever needs it!
Sunset Paddle Boarding
We’re teaming up with Buoy Water Club for a Friday night. sunset paddle board session on Lake Austin on October 20th. Come out and meet some new friends and enjoy an evening at ski shores cafe after.
Grand Teton National Park
Come basecamp & backpack with Bend Outdoors for the Fourth of July Weekend!
This adventure includes backpacking in the midst of the jagged Grand Teton Mountain Range, base camping next to Jackson Lake, and more backpacking in the pristine backcountry of Grand Teton National Park.

We’ll be backpacking in a 2-mile Hike-in, primitive spot.

Meet up at the park around 12 pm.
Hike the Pederanles Falls Trail
Hike to the Swimming Area.
Swim and hangout
Head to the campsite around 5:30-6:00. Set up camp, cook dinner, and hang out

Hike out via Wolfe Mountain Trail

Join us for a one-night camping trip to Colorado Bend State Park.
We’ll be camping at the North Area Campsite area in a primitive spot. If you volunteer at the Town Lake Clean Up in the morning, you can ride with the Bend Crew.
Saturday, May 6th:
Meet up at the park around 2 pm.
Hike the Spicewood Springs Trail
Swim, and hang out.
Head to the campsite around 5:30-6:00. Set up camp, cook dinner, and hang out by the fire
Sunday, May 7th:
Breakfast
Hike out and Hike the Gorman Falls Trail & hang out.

Town Lake Clean Up
Come join us as we do our part to keep Austin’s beloved Town Lake clean. We are blessed to have such a beautiful river running right through the heart of downtown Austin. It’s a staple in any Austinite’s routine. We all use it. We all love it. And we all need to do our part to preserve it.
We’ll meet at the Zilker Park sand volleyball courts. Coffee and water will be provided pre-clean-up. Trash bags and gloves will be provided as well but we encourage y’all to bring gloves of your own if you’ve got some.

Guadalupe Mountain National Park
Come explore with Bend Outdoors this New Year. We are embarking on a 5-day, 4-night exhibition at Guadalupe Mountain National Park. We will be leaving from San Antonio, TX and will head straight to Guadalupe Mountain National Park. We will set up camp and get ready for the next day upon arrival. On day two, we will embark on a hike through Devils Hall (3.5-miles). Day three will be followed by a hike to El Capitan to Salt Basin Overlook (13.5-miles). Day four will consist of summiting the highest peak in Texas, Guadalupe Peak, and we will set up camp on the mountain and celebrate the New Year the right way, in the outdoors. We will depart from the peak of the mountain on the fifth day pack up and head back home. We will camp at the Pine Springs Campground from the 28th through the 31st and then switch sites to the Guadalupe Peak on the last night.

Austin's Outdoor Experience
A full day experiencing Austin outdoors starting with a yoga session at Zilker, followed by a hike. After a lunch break on us, we will end the day with a surf session on Lake Travis.
We set out with the intention of gathering a community to get out there and get moving. We at Bend Outdoors and ACL Boat Rentals, have come together allowing you to participate in activities located in the best stops Austin has to feature, while receiving a top-of-the-line service.
